Get up and running with DevLyTicks in just 5 minutes. This guide will walk you through creating an account, connecting your first repository, and viewing your analytics dashboard.
Before you begin, make sure you have:
Create your DevLyTicks account, then connect the source providers your team uses. GitHub OAuth remains available for authentication and GitHub repository access.
Navigate to DevLyTicks
Visit devlyticks.com and click "Get Started" or choose your available sign-in method
Authorize Access
Follow the authorization step for your sign-in method. You can connect GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket, and delivery providers after account creation.
Complete Profile
You'll be redirected back to DevLyTicks and your account will be automatically created
Organizations in DevLyTicks help you manage team access and collaborate on analytics.
If you're setting up DevLyTicks for your team, create a new organization.
If you received an invitation, accept it to join an existing team.
Connect a repository from GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps, or Bitbucket to start analyzing your development metrics.
Navigate to Repositories
Click "Repositories" in the sidebar, then "Add Repository"
Select Repository
Choose a repository from the connected source provider account or organization
Start Sync
Click "Sync Repository" to begin importing data. This may take a few minutes depending on repository size.
💡 Pro Tip: Start with a smaller, active repository for your first sync. This will complete faster and give you immediate insights!
Once your repository is synced, you can start exploring your development analytics.
View commit activity, code quality scores, and team performance metrics.
Track individual and team contributions, collaboration patterns, and productivity.
Gamified team rankings based on contributions, code quality, and engagement.
Deep dive into repository-specific metrics, trends, and code quality analysis.
